Prayer Promises:

  • “The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” (James 5:16)
  • “Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us… If anyone sees his brother sinning, …he will ask, and He will give him life. (1 John 5:14-16)

Pray, Practice, Present:

1. PRAY

Make a list of individuals (family members, friends, colleagues, etc.) whom you will pray for daily.

Prayer should not be the last resort (“If all else fails, let’s pray”). It should be first and foremost. Also consider to Fast and Pray (see Matt 17:21).

2. PRACTICE

Ask the Lord for wisdom to do something kind for them.

People generally do not care how much you know, until they know how much you care. Winning

people’s trust and confidence by genuine concern and friendship is definitely a powerful way to witness.

3. PRESENT

Seek God’s wisdom to reveal to you your talents in how you can witness more effectively.

Sharing God’s love will come as a result of being inspired of what He has done for us. Witnessing is a natural outcome of being saved and responding to God’s promptings.
